The effect assessment tool ‘CAUSA’ (WP5) will be developed to make better and faster overviews of cause‐effect relations and relevant mitigation measures related to activity characteristics and the environmental baseline for the  specific geographical area.  The development of CAUSA is more complicated than the baseline tool, and the task will involve development of  algorithms for searching existing data about cause‐effect relations. A machine learning module to assist users in  identifying relevant relations based on project characteristics will be developed.
