A lot has happened since the Dreams consortium last met in person in Kolding in January! Earlier this week (on June-15) the project participants met at AAU Campus in Copenhagen for a full day of Dreams thoughts and discussions.
In the morning hours 5 of the participants were video recorded using professional setup with teleprompter and manuscript to create a short video for the project. The final video will present the background, vision and key tools of the Dreams project, presented by Lone Kørnøv and Ivar Lyhne. Furthermore, three of the Dreams participants will give us their view on why the Dreams project really matters!
The morning sessions included presentation (and discussions) about the Report Repository, CAUSA and the SDGs. Mock-ups of the Baseline tool were presented followed by inputs and thoughts from the consortium partners before lunch was served. The consortium is strongly convinced that the design and content of the baseline tool will provide considerable benefits for current practice on environmental assessment.
With a full stomach and fresh coffee in the cup the participants did group work to identify and prioritise exploitation and business ideas and plans deriving from the project. The result was a series of ideas for how to continue and expand the digitalisation of environmental assessment.
Last on the agenda was a presentation about the legal analysis, and discussion of potential challenges connected to decision support systems and copyright.
The day ended with more free conversations between the partners over light tapas. All in all, another great in-person meeting in the Dreams consortium!
